The next art show at the C. X Carlson Gallery

at the Quarryville Library is “Photography by Naomi Thompson”. 

Naomi, a local artist, will be displaying her photographs of flowers

and other works taken during a trip to the western USA. 

The show will open with a reception on

Saturday, September 15 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. 

The public is invited to meet the artist and enjoy refreshments. 

The show can be viewed during library hours until October 11.

About Naomi Thompson:

Music performance, art and photography have been

long-standing interests of mine.  I studied fine arts at the

University of Delaware and also at the Delaware Art Museum

and through the years incorporated my talents

into my profession of Certified Activity Director

with a specialty in Memory Care.

As I am an avid gardener, the flower photographs are of ones I grow here

at my home in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.  My other works on exhibit here

are ones I have taken during my trips to our western USA,

which truly speak of our “America The Beautiful”.

My photographs here on display have not been digitally enhanced.

My photographs have been exhibited in Chester County

and Lancaster County Libraries and most recently 

in the municipal building in Newark, Delaware.
